The Alice Pet Planet

Welcome to the Alice Pet Planet!  Why adopt a pet? For many reasons: companionship, love, fun, responsibility and perhaps a better sense of self and improved health along the way.

Owning a pet can lower a person's blood pressure. They can relax you by watching them play or stroking their fur. They can decrease the recuperation time of sick patients by giving them something to ease their pain and to look forward to. Pets are now often brought in to children’s hospitals and elderly homes to boost moral.

Watching playful pets can give you a great mood boost after a hard day and make you smile and laugh. If you long for someone to take care of and to be loved by they can fill that need as well. They can help you get exercise and play with you as well.

It is a proven fact that pet owners live longer than non-pet owners, plus pets help teach responsibility to kids.

If you are interested in adopting the animals below, or any of the other animals available at the CCSPCA, please contact them via the contact info listed below the photos.

5-8 Pets of the week
108038 Buddy - Well he came in with his brother Butters and his brother already got adopted so Buddy is a bit depressed! He is a great boy, about 2 years old, oh so handsome with his great tiger striped orange tabby hair, he is neutered already so he could go home with you today!!! He was turned in due to a family member in the house "developing" allergies and so by no fault of his own. He uses his litterbox, he is gentle, and he also likes to hide in his litterbox too! He is just like my office mascot, Brooks, he likes to hide out until he gets to know you and then he loves on you every chance he gets!!!

104666 Kody - He is gold in the sun, he is a golden Labrador Retriever, and a bit lean and lanky due to some possible shepherd in their too! He is a young adult, meaning he is a probably only about 1 or 2 years old. He gets along great with other dogs, he lets them eat first, he lets them greet first ( they get to say hi to the people passing by first), he likes to go outside to go to the restroom, he is a great dog. He would be a great family dog and if you take advantage of our free training every Wednesday, he would be what people come back and say "he's perfect!" Sadly he came in with a microchip and no one would come in to take him back home. Another thing training works great on is getting them to not leave home in the first place unless it is a planned trip.
